Frequently asked questions
What is a running coach?
Think of a running coach as a personal trainer, except they specialize in running. A running coach can create a training plan based on your timeline and current running experience.
I’m not a runner right now, but I want to be. Are you still able to work with me?
ABSOLUTELY. I love helping people of all experience levels fall in love with running.
I’ve run races before, but I really want to get faster. Is that something you’d be able to help me with?
Yes! I’m equipped to be able to help people increase their speed and intensity while reducing their risk of injury. I’d love to talk about your pace goals and help you meet them.
I used to run and really enjoy it, but I’ve taken a few years off since then. I’ve been thinking about getting back into running. Would you be able to help with that?
I sure can! I’d love to talk more about your running history and where you want to be within the next year or two so we can create a training program based on your needs.
Every time I run, it hurts my knees/feet/back/hips. Can you help me run without pain?
I’m connected to a local network of doctors, physical therapists, and chiropractors. I’d love to partner with them to help you run completely pain-free. If you need any recommendations, let me know! I’m also equipped to make recommendations for strengthening and mobility moves that can help you run injury and pain-free.
How do I pay you?
You’ll schedule an initial consultation with me (using the “Coaching Services” page on my website) so that you can get an idea of how I coach, and I can learn more about your goals. After that, once we’ve decided how to move forward together, I’ll email you an invoice.
